Rules & Regulations

Every member is responsible for reading and following these standards before participating in One State Network.

Community standards

Server Conduct

The baseline standard for every member, character, department, and scene in One State Network.
Website and Discord policies apply together

Published Discord guidance remains active alongside this library. If two policies differ, follow the stricter standard and ask staff before continuing.

A shared standard for every member

These rules apply across characters, departments, training, events, and ordinary server activity. Not knowing a rule does not remove responsibility for it.

Server Conduct
  1. 01

    Serious, good-faith roleplay

Create believable characters and make choices that support the shared scene. Fail-RP, forced outcomes, powergaming, and deliberately disruptive play are prohibited.

  2. 02

    Value your character's life

Treat credible threats, injuries, and dangerous situations as meaningful. Characters may take risks, but they may not behave as if injury or death has no consequence.

  3. 03

    No random or vehicle deathmatch

Violence requires an established in-character reason and reasonable escalation. Vehicles may not be used as weapons except as a proportionate response to an immediate threat.

  4. 04

    Keep information in character

Do not use streams, Discord conversations, another character's knowledge, or out-of-character messages to gain an in-character advantage.

  5. 05

    Finish the scene

Do not disconnect, respawn, or otherwise leave to avoid an active scene or its consequences. If a technical issue removes you, return or contact the involved players promptly.

  6. 06

    Respect people outside the scene

Harassment, slurs, targeted hostility, threats, and unwanted sexual roleplay are not permitted. Conflict between characters is never permission to mistreat another player.

  7. 07

    Use mechanics honestly

Exploits, injected software, duplicated items, hidden collisions, and mechanic abuse must be reported rather than used. Do not conceal or profit from a known issue.
