Coverage without borders
SASP holds statewide jurisdiction, running highway patrol, rural coverage, and support for agencies that need a hand beyond their own lines. Troopers work long stretches of open road and quiet counties as often as they work the interstate, and the job asks for patience and steady judgment more than anything else.
AIR AND GROUND
One state, one command
Air support and ground patrol work under the same chain, so a trooper on a back road and a crew in the air are reading the same situation. That coordination is what state-level coverage is built on.
