What the San Andreas Sheriff's Association actually is
Most people know this office simply as the Blaine County Sheriff's Office. In truth, BCSO is one half of a larger body. The San Andreas Sheriff's Association is the overseeing agency that stands above county-level sheriff's operations, and it is the reason a single deputy can carry a badge that reads Blaine County one shift and Los Santos County the next. One Sheriff, one chain of command, two counties.

Blaine County stretches across desert, mountain and small township, and it is the backbone of what SASA does day to day. Deputies patrol its highways, respond to calls in its scattered communities and hold the county's long stretches of open road. It is the assignment most SASA members know best.

Blaine County
The county seat of SASA operations. Deputies here carry the Blaine County star and cover its highways, high desert and mountain towns.
Los Santos County
The same command extends into Los Santos County. A deputy assigned here trades stars but answers to the same Sheriff and the same office.
