About the Department
The San Andreas State Police is the premier statewide law enforcement agency, patrolling the highways, rural counties, and unincorporated areas of San Andreas. Troopers handle high-speed pursuits, traffic enforcement, major collision investigations, and provide mutual aid to local agencies. Specialized divisions include K-9, Air Support, and the Highway Patrol Division.
Responsibilities
- Patrol state highways and rural counties
- Conduct traffic stops and DUI enforcement
- Investigate major motor vehicle collisions
- Respond to felony pursuits and incidents
- Provide mutual aid to LSPD and SASO
- Maintain peace at large statewide events
